| Ed Pink Racing Engines (EPRE) has been located at the current Van Nuys, California facility since
1965. The facility encompasses two buildings totaling approximately 15,000 square feet of floor space. In 1999,
the primary building was doubled in size with the acquisition of the adjoining building.
The company and the facility are both very departmentalized in their organization. This method allows the smooth flow of
projects through the specialized departments, while also promoting good communication within the organization. The various
departments include: engineering, engine shop, multiple machine shops, particle inspection, fabrication, parts, quality
inspection, dynamometer rooms and Spin Tron.
The company uses the latest versions of various CAD solid modeling and three- dimensional software systems in the
engineering office, as well as the newest Sakor data collection system on the primary dynamometer and our new state-of-the-art
SpinTron test bench. A new Haas CNC vertical mill produces some of the company’s components, while all components pass through
QC inspection including the Brown and Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine.
EPRE’s mission is to produce the best racing engines and components in the industry and the company continues to upgrade
its facility as necessary to keep step with the latest in technology and services.
