| Ed Pink Racing Engines maintains a staff of approximately 20 within their 15,000
square foot facility. The highly talented staff is a mix of mature, experienced leaders and a healthy blend of young,
ambitious professionals all focused on the common goal of building the best racing engines in the industry. Interestingly,
four of EPRE’s key employees have a combined total of 100 years of service at the renowned engine development firm.
Utilizing his 50 years of experiences garnered from building nearly every type of racing engine, Pink designed his
organization as essentially eight departments focused on the design, production, testing and development of racing engines.
Some of these departments are lead by long time EPRE employees. For example, Mike Johnson has served as the company’s lead
design engineer for over 28 years. Larry Ingham, who has been with EPRE more than 27 years, oversees the engine build shop. Also a long-time employee, Doug Nealy builds and bench tests
the EPRE oil and water pumps, as well as making components for special projects.
EPRE’s General Manager, Frank Honsowetz joined the team after a 27-year career at Nissan North America’s Motorsports Department. In his previous position, Honsowetz had a 5-year association with EPRE in the development of the
Infiniti Indy engine.
Hiring and retaining top quality, qualified individuals is all part of Ed Pink’s obsession to produce the best racing
engines and components possible. |
